At The King‘s Head, we specialise in delivering a modern approach to pub classics and fine dining

Our meat is sourced from local butchers and direct from local farms, and our fruit and vegetables are supplied daily to ensure optimum freshness. We love to forage for ingredients such as wild garlic and mushrooms.

It is so enjoyable to plan a fresh, versatile menu when so many key ingredients are surrounding us in the local area.

We feel very lucky here at The King’s, because our loyal locals often deliver homegrown fruit and vegetables straight from their gardens. We also regularly receive trout freshly caught from the neighbouring River Wharf.

One of Joe’s specialities is pan roasted Yorkshire lamb, with rosemary and garlic dauphinois potatoes and lamb jus.
